Instructions for how to take photos
- If possible have a friend or family member help you take the photos
- Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water
- Take photos using the flash setting on your smartphone
Front Photo
Bite on your back teeth and smile as widely as possible. Place two or three fingers into the sides of your mouth and use them to pull back your lips so that all your teeth are visible. Your photo should resemble the one above.
Right Side Photo
Bite on your back teeth. Use your right fingers to pull back the cheek so that your upper and lower side teeth are visible. It may help to release the grip a little with your left fingers. Your photo should resemble the one above.
Left Side Photo
Bite on your back teeth. Use your left fingers to pull back the cheek so that your upper and lower side teeth are visible. It may help to release the grip a little with your right fingers. Your photo should resemble the one above.
Top Teeth Photo
If possible, it is recommended that a friend or family member help you to take these photos. Open your mouth widely and tilt your chin up so that we have a better view of all your teeth. Use your fingers to pull back the lower lip. Your photos should resemble those above.
Bottom Teeth Photo
If possible, it is recommended that a friend or family member help you to take these photos. Open your mouth widely and tilt your chin down so that we have a better view of all your teeth. Use your fingers to pull back the upper lip. Your photos should resemble those above.
